Dual Voltage Switch
General Introduction
The dual voltage switch is de-energized, rotary-type switches, applied in oil-filled distribution transformer, or electrical equipment, both pole and pad mounted. The dual voltage switch is mounted through the tank wall and be operated from outside of the transformer.
Available in single-deck and three-deck configurations, it supports both single-phase and three-phase transformer systems. The dual voltage switch is engineered to meet and often exceed the performance requirements of most transformer applications.
The moving contact system consists of a spring loaded, copper rolling contact.
The 100 A contacts are available with stud type connectors; all are tin plated copper.
The switch body, rotor and shaft are made of a high strength, glass-filled thermoplastic material. The operating shaft is sealed against leakage by two high temperature resistant O-Rings.
Each handle kit includes a handle with mounting screw, a mounting nut, an indicator plate, a gasket.
